“It’s a competition?” you tease, preparing to stand.
“Not with you, sweetness, but there’s something to be said for firsts. He got the kiss. I get your bed. We’ll share the others. Come on, before he I take one of my firsts.” He motions for you to follow him as he climbs off the bed.
“Your firsts?” you question.
He slows his strides, coming to a full stop at the end of your bed.
He beckons you to him with a crook of his right pointer finger.
You watch your feet as you make your way over, but once you’re close, you lift your gaze to his.
“A little closer.”
You take another step.
“Our first, sweetness,” he says, then leans in so slowly, you don’t know what he’s going to do. “Open.” He says against your mouth, and your lips part.
